My name is Dunkin. I was born with 5 other sisters. I was the only boy. I was taken from my mommy at two months, In a strange house. Two little kids fed and cared for me. One day, a lady came And took me away. My previous owners Sneezed every time they were near me. I liked my new home, There was a big cat that lived there too. But I still missed the two little girls That scratched behind my ears. I decided to go look for the girls. I wandered outside. Two mean boys came and kicked me. They picked me up, by my tail. I meowed for help, But I got in return, A crushed skull. Then they put a clear smelly liquid on me. They lit a match. I could smell smoke as I was being burned alive. Today I live, Only in the hearts of those Who loved and care for me. I made a prayer to all the other animals in this world, of cruelty and hatred. | ||||||||||||||||||||
